Long before he held clippers, Brandon held a pencil. His uncle and grandfather taught him to "draw what you see," and he still cuts that way: he studies the head, the face and the person, then builds the cut.

Barber. Father of three. Man of faith. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and proudly Tampa-built, Brandon has spent more than eleven years at Fadeology Barbershop serving clients with precision, patience and pride.

Draw what you see

Brandon was born into a big family in Milwaukee. Long before he held clippers, he held a pencil. His uncle Reggie and his grandfather gave him the words he still lives by: "Draw what you see." That lesson became the foundation of everything he creates.

Responsibility came early

Brandon became a father at a young age, and he didn't run from it. He went to work. He held a steady job from his early teens to provide for his son, and he cut hair for friends and family on the side. Somewhere between those kitchen-chair haircuts, a calling took shape.

A turning point, and a choice

Like many young men, Brandon reached a crossroads where the wrong path was the easy one. He chose the harder road. He rededicated his life to God, to his children and to his craft, and he moved to Indiana to enroll in barber school with one goal: to put his art into every haircut.

Not everyone around him wanted to see him rise. Brandon learned to guard his circle, protect his peace and keep his eyes on the mission. Through early mornings, late nights and unshakable faith, he graduated, with a son and a newborn daughter looking up to him.

“To get where you want to be in life, all you need is discipline, a vision and faith. If you can believe it, you can achieve it.”

Faith before sight

Brandon believed in his calling so completely that his flight to Florida was booked and his apartment was ready before he had even passed his state board exam. Leaving his children behind for a season was the hardest sacrifice he has ever made, but he knew building their future meant stepping out on faith.

The beginning in Florida was humbling. He worked at Chick-fil-A, walked unfamiliar streets and shared a studio apartment with two roommates. Through it all, Brandon held on to resilience and prayer, and God led him to his Fadeology family.

Eleven years, and still building

For more than eleven years, Brandon has served clients at Fadeology Barbershop in Tampa, building a loyal clientele at record speed. He is known in the shop for his reliability, his work ethic and the conversations in his chair, which carry wisdom earned the hard way.

A father first

Brandon's greatest accomplishment isn't his career. It's being a father. He has devoted himself to raising and supporting his children, including raising his son Bray'shaun full-time and celebrating his academic achievements.

His first daughter, Da'Liyah, is described as strong-minded, confident and a natural leader. In 2025, Brandon welcomed his youngest daughter, Kiyomi, who shares his birthday.

Above everything else, his children are his motivation, his purpose and his why.
